Our most popular business start-up programme includes 12-months of tailored 1:1 support from a Business Start-Up Advisor. No two journeys look the same as every participant has such a different idea of what self-employment looks like to them.

An introductory session to map out their ideas, goals and plans, both long and short term.
Marketing support
Dedicated sessions to focus on marketing strategies, including how to find customers online, how to build a digital presence and how to create a free website.
Webinars
Invitations to regular webinars on current topics within the self-employment world.
Live action plan
A “live action plan” document that is revised during their catch-ups with their Business Start-Up Advisor.

Time spent on building a brand identity.
Tax Support
We offer sole traders a free Self-Assessment tax return after their first year of trading. It's our way of helping new businesses start off strong - with expert support and one less cost to worry about.
1:1 sessions
1:1 sessions to look at business plans, cash flow documents and personal survival budgets.
E-Learning portal
Access to our e-learning portal for learner-led resources and activities (including modules on resilience, confidence and mental health for business owners).
